Raising money for Breast Cancer Now research

For the last few weeks Lisa Riley has been helping raise awareness for Wear it Pink day 2015, and today Dataplan Payroll Limited “wore it pink” to do their part in helping raise awareness and funds for research into breast cancer.

 Wear it Pink Day

Dataplan employees dropped their formal attire in favour of something pink, and had a pink themed bake-off which not only increased donations but there was a noticeable increase in “taste testing” in the kitchen. Dataplan managed to raise £115.32 to donate towards the research that saves lives every day.

Breast Cancer is diagnosed in 50,000 women and 350 men every year in the UK, and Wear it Pink day has raised over £27 million since its launch in 2002. Wear it Pink day is a great way to have a bit of fun in the office while we do our part for charity, and best of all, everyone looked great!
