Employers will be pleased to hear that after last years’ National Insurance letter changes that saw the addition of 4 new categories to bring the total to 11, the 2016-2017 tax year sees the amount of categories being reduced once more to 7. This means less to remember, less confusion and less room for error!

The increase in National Minimum Wage 2015

It’s that time again, forget the Coca-Cola truck, when the National Minimum Wage increases you know Christmas is imminent. With thousands upon thousands of us getting a little pay rise just before the festive season, what is the new National Minimum Wage for 2015?

The National Minimum Wage for anyone aged 21 and over has gone from £6.50 to £6.70 per hour, 18 to 20 years old has gone from £5.13 to £5.30 per hour and under 18’s have gone from £3.79 to £3.87 per hour.

Were you umm-ing and ah-ing about switching payroll providers this April?
Hesitant because it’s your first time outsourcing?
Too busy to worry about improving your payroll systems?

Next April is only 11 months away… But why wait until then? It’s a common misconception with payroll that it’s April or never when it comes to outsourcing or switching providers. But that isn’t the case!
